The 1960 to today is when new things started getting built.  Some of this things are computers, internet, and even bubble rap.
People talk about history but the we are in now will be history in the future. What will history be for this time?
There have been lots of wars but not a lot of big ones one of the big ones was the Vietnam war. It lasted from 1960-1975.
That's cool that lots of things are getting invented, but have there been wars?
It was a war between North and South Vietnam. North Vietnam wanted to become communism, but South Vietnam disagreed. 
15 years! That is so long. Why would people fight for so long?
They had help from different countries. In the end South Vietnam won. With both sides having huge losses.
If it was just to halves of a countries how did it last so long?
Actually there is a war happening right now. It is between Russia and Ukraine. 
That is a super interesting war but that was a while ago. Nothing is happening right now.
The US is helping Ukraine without really being on their side because they don't want to start an even bigger war.
Wait, Really? what side is the US on?
