I must say that it's not like we can actually see this molecules, i'm showing them to you for a better understanding of the process.
You see, plants like this tree absorb carbon dioxide molecules from the air, plants need them in order to survive.
Then the carbon from the plants it's eaten by herbivores like me and this guy right here.

Ha! that happens when you are rude.
Now, this cycle would only continue if a carnivore eats the giraffe just like this moment.
Another way the carbon will exist into the ground is when i digest or when this tree dies.
I must remind you that the carbon is still in my body when i eat plants, so it will return to the atmosphere when i breath out like this.
Over time, it will even turn into fossil fuel.
Then just give it a little bit of time until the cycle repeats all over again.
Did you know that carbon moves from the atmosphere to the oceans?
Carbon also moves from fossil fuels to the atmosphere when fuels are burned. Pretty cool I know.
