- I am going to show you all about Geometry Unit 1 and the three basic terms that cannot be defined by other figures: Point, Line, and Plane.
- Let me think: Oh, yes, point is my favorite friend! He is very little, and looks like a period. (He's the easiest to remember, also.)
- Let me introduce you to Line. Hi line! What do you do?
- Oh, hi, Sonia! I am a straight line that extends forever and ever. I'm endless!
- That is so interesting Line!
- Isn't it! I can be found everywhere.Why, even the edge of the road could be defined as a line!
- That was pretty interesting, talking to Line! Now I'm going to talk about another of my best friends, Plane. A plane is a flat surface that has no thickness and that extends forever. Pretty cool, right?
- Hope they enjoyed my soliloquy. I enjoyed it.
