- Yes, the world can be a big and scary place, however there is a lot of help out there to help you learn and grow strong.

- Well, when you three start school there is IDEA.
- What is IDEA?

- IDEA, are laws that allow all children to receive a free education even if their different or have any disabilities.

- But mom how do they help

- IDEA, also make sures a child's IEP is upheld along with providing the proper evaluations.

- Most importantly IDEA offers students and parents alike rights and protection.

- They are many resources for families that will provide help both legal and academic.

- IDEA provides all children the ability to fly!

- Resources for staff to better understand IDEA
- 1) Familiarize yourself with every students IEP. Understanding their accommodation's and modifications.2) Understand any laws and policies involving IDEA with the IDEA website ed.gov3) District and county trainings and PLCs. (Also speak with your ESE peers)
