- Long, long ago in a land far, far away, there lived a man by the name of Oedipus. Oedipus had been running from his fate for most of his life. Finally, he landed in kingdom of Space Thebes. Mythical and exotic, Space Thebes was full of travelers from far lands. However, Space Thebes was being dominated by the evil Space Mouse, Jared. Despite being bigger and having razor sharp rat claws, Oedipus bested Jared in combat. As such, he ascended to the desired role of King of Thebes.
- Falling action
- Tiresias the Great arrived at the Space Thebes Castle to inform Oedipus of the reason why the plague has been spread throughout his kingdom. He explains this is due to the uncharged murder of Laius. Oedipus then stands on the steps of his castle and tells the people that the man who kills Laius must reveal themselves and suffer exile.
- Resolution
- After speaking to a Shepard and a messenger, Oedipus realizes that it is he who killed Laius, his own father. He then realizes that it is also he who slept with his mother. Overcome with grief, Oedipus's wife and mother goes to her room and ejects herself into the frozen wasteland of space.
- The End
- Due to his fate, Oedipus feels he has no other choice but to blind himself. Oedipus does this to punish himself for his wrongdoings. Oddly, as soon as he blinds himself, he's able to see the real world, despite being blind.
- Creon sees this and knows that he must exile the former king. The fated man is overcome with emotion and says farewell to his daughters. Oedipus accepts his fate, and is exiled from Space Thebes.
