  • Yeah, go now we. It's dark out. Taxi here.

  • I think I lost the challenge.
  • Eww, I have to change my clothes too.
  • Whatever, we still got home safely, saved money, and didn't do anything else illegal on the way.
  • 19. The three boys are so drunk, especially John, who has to drive back home. Tommy's taxi has arrived so he has no issue getting back home. Michael and Tommy have to drag John out of the house to the car.
  • Knock Knock!
  • Yup.
  • So this is the house?
  • 20. Michael wakes up John to drive, he drives out of the house successfully but hits a car parked on the side of the road accidentally. Michael tells John to keep going, so he proceeds to drive under the influence of alcohol and crosses a red light too.Recklessness: taking an unjustifiable risk that a reasonable person would not take.
  • Why are the police here? Did we do something? I need to change my dirty clothes.
  • You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can be used against you in court.

  • 21. When John and Michael reach home, they both fall asleep. In the morning, they wake up confused as to how they got on the bed. Michael realizes that he won the challenge because John drank. But, they believe that nothing happened when they were driving home illegally.
  • That's true. He should have some fault in our wrongdoings last night.
  • Why am I going to jail? I didn't do anything.
  • Abetting, you encouraged John to keep going after you hit a car which made him cross a red light.
  • 22. Early in the morning, the police knock on the door of the criminals. The girl is getting trained and has to arrest the two criminals and follow up with the after process.
  • We just have to arrest them and read them their rights.
  • 23. John and Michael get arrested for impaired driving (indictable offence), committing a hit and run (hybrid offence), and recklessness (dangerous operation of a motor vehicle - indictable offence).Indictable offence: more serious crime carrying a heavier sentence.Hybrid offence: crimes that may be processed as summary or indictable offences, depending on the Crown’s choice.
  • Hi, you two are under arrest for the dangerous operation of a vehicle, failure to stop at the scene of an accident, and impaired driving.
  • 24. Michael doesn't understand why he was arrested, but the cops say that he was abetting the perpetrator. The criminals have to be in jail for ten years because of everything that they committed together. Abetting: encouraging a person to commit a criminal offence.
