- Carthage wanted to expand into Spain, Rome encouraged the Spanish the rebel against them, Carthage sent Hannibal to defeat Rome.
- When getting ready for war with Rome, the Carthaginians crossed paths with the Alps and had a fight, which caused half of Carthage's army to die but the troops that survived were still strong enough to go to war with Rome.
- New ruler Scipio, leads Rome into war with the Carthaginians, they win which causes Cartage to give up their navy to Rome and pay them money.
