Hello my name is Steve Harmon. I am 16 years old
Steve is on trial for the murder of a man that he didn't kill.
"I'll call it what the lady prosecutor called me....... MONSTER" (Pg. 5)
"I thought u were innocent until proven guilty" (Pg. 79)
Steve feels like they are viewing him as guilty without any real evidence
"I don't know what he was doing, but i know i wasn't in the drug store" (Pg. 229)
While being on trail, he was asked about where he was the day the man was murdered in the drug store.
"A get-over? i don't do get-overs" (pg 271)
Steve thinks about all that has happened over the past year. he thinks about how if he didn't stay around the drug store he would be fine
"They have a verdict... No matter what it is we can continue your case. We can appeal." (Pg. 272)
Steve is found to be not guilty of the charges of murder but O'Brian promises he will appeal and continue the case.
