- Daisy starts off as a character that seems nice and elegant.  She is actually pretty whiny and reckless. She has a husband named Tom, however she likes Gatsby. 
- Gatsby is a wealthy man, who makes most of his money illegally. He throws party’s for his self image and to impress Daisy. He dreams to be with Daisy, but Daisy is married. Many rumors are spread about Gatsby during his parties which makes him a mysterious character.
- Nick is the protagonist of the story. He is a very chill and honest man. He is very observant and analyzes the people around him. He can be hypocritical at times. Daisy is his cousin and Gatsby is his old friend.
