- Mr. White and his song Herbet are playing chess when Mr. Whites friend SGM Morris come over and starts to tell a story about a monkeys paw and how it gives 3 wishes to whoever holds the paw
- Climax
- SGM Morris throws the paw in the fire and Mr. White recovers the paw but doesn't know what to wish for. Herbert suggested he wishes for 200 pounds and Mr. White did
- Falling Action
- Mr. White gets a knock on the door. He opens it to find someone from the place where herbert works. The man tells Mr. and Mrs. White that herbert got caught in the machinery and died. The company gave them 200 pounds because of what happened
- Resolution
- Mrs. White begs Mr. White to wish for herbert back and he does. After awhile they hear knocking at the door
- Mrs. White runs to open the door but Mr. White stops her. Mrs. White breaks free and runs to unlock and open the door. Mr White is looking for the monkeys paw on the floor
- Mr. White retrieves the paw just in time to make the third and final wish. He wished for Herbert to go away and when Mrs. White opened the door no one was there. The wish came true!
