Let's look at securing your wireless network

And of course you will want to back up your stuff!
1. Change the default admin password to your own, strong password 2. Enable WPA2 security 3. Create a "guest" access code/password. This allows people to use your Wi-fi but NOT access your devices on the Wi-fi
1. Keep your device software updated, cyber attackers are constantly looking for device weaknesses in their operating systems to steal your info. 2. Create secure and unique passwords for various sites and devices. The new preference is to use a passphrase such as "I love coffee more than cacti"
With more devices in our homes, that means we have a lot of photos, documents, videos, and information that we need to protect. Take advantage of the cloud storage that your devices or online services provide. Or consider an external hard drive to regularly back up your devices as well. I back up to both Google and iCloud and have a 1Tb external hard drive as well!
