Norrøn mytologi er satt sammen av myter fra det skandinaviske folk og ble videreført over mange generasjoner i form av poesi. Den fortsatte å gå videre gjennom vikingtiden.   • Odin is the greatest Norse god. He is the god of war, poetry, knowledge, death, and magic. He has one eye, and is seen with a spear and two ravens.
  • VE
  • Frigg is the goddess of childbirth, healing, and foreknowledge. She is usually depicted with long, flowing hair, and holding a torch.
  • VILI
  • Thor is the god of the sky and thunder, as well as healing and sanctification. He is never without his hammer, his helmet, his iron gloves and belt, or his goat driven chariot.
  • HOD
  • Loki is the god of trickery, deceit, and shape-shifting. His appearance is often creepy and spider-like, and he is usually depicted with a fishing net or knot.
  • TYR
  • Ve is the god of creation, along with his brothers Vili and Odin. He is depicted wielding a mighty axe and wearing a great helm.
  • Like his brothers Odin and Ve, Vili is the god of creation. He is depicted with a mighty helm, an axe, and a mace.
  • Hod is the blind god of winter and warriors. He is often depicted with his bow and arrow, or the spear that Loki used to trick him.
  • Tyr is the god of war, law, and justice. He is usually depicted with a missing right arm and holding a spear or scepter.

  • NJORD
  • FREYR
  • Heimdall is the guardian angel of Asgard. He sits at the end of a rainbow bridge and waits with his horn to call out the approach of enemies. He is always pictured with his horn and a ram's head helmet.
  • FREYJA
  • Balder is the god of summer, sunlight, and forgiveness. He radiates light from his shield and shaft.
  • HEL
  • Njord is the god of seas, wealth, wind, and fishing. He is the father of twins Freyr and Freyja.
  • VIDAR
  • Freyr is the well respected god of fertility, and is the symbol of prosperity and pleasant weather. He is the twin brother of Freyja and the son of Njord.
  • VALE
  • Freyja is the goddess of love, lust, and celebrations. She rules over the realm called Folkvang and she is the Queen of the Valkyries. She is often pictured with a golden necklace and her chariot pulled by cats.
  • Hel is the goddess of the underworld, also called Hel. She is usually depicted with blue skin and half-skeleton, half human features.
  • Vidar is the god of vengeance. He is the only son of Odin and the giantess Grid, and the half-brother of Thor. As a half giant, he is significantly stronger than most Asgardian gods, and he is usually seen with his nearly unbreakable staff.
  • One of the lesser known gods, Vale is the son of Odin and brother of Balder. Vale avenged his brother's death by killing Hod, who killed Balder with mistletoe.
