- Tom Walker walked through the woods on his way back home when he found a skull and a man walked up to him that was not black nor was he white and he said he was the devil and offered Tom fortune if he would sell his soul to the devil. The devil then went into the ground and Tom continued his walk home.
- Climax
- Once Tom arrived at home he told his wife about what had happened and her selfish ways wanted him to accept the deal. She then went out on her own and found the devil and she made a deal with him that she would not disclose.
- Falling Action
- The woman went out with a apron on and she did not come back, Tom found the apron with her heart and liver inside. He then went back to the devil.
- Resolution
- Tom walker sells his soul to the devil and starts to live his best life but soon that attitude will change after he starts to fear damnation.
- As Tom becomes wealthy he helps people in need and he gives them things that they want.
- Tom Walkers time to go had come and the devil came and swooped him up before anybody now what was going on and he was never heard from again.
