The relationship between teachers and students is the most influential. In order to successfully build a relationship with your students, it is important to develop an understanding of the student's lives and to incorporate relevant examples in your lessons. Relationships should foster mutual respect and trust. As the teacher, you should be a source of consistency.
Classroom Environment SMART goal
By October 2021, I will start to give up control in the classroom once every week, and let my students be the leaders.
High Expectations For All
The classroom environment should exude positivity and community; it should be a place where each student feels valued and heard. The students should accept differences and tolerance for all others. The educator should teach compassion and respect toward others, as well as incorporate social-emotional learning skills into their lessons.
High Expectations SMART goal
At least 80% of my students will achieve mastery of the power standards within each math module.
Educators should help students set goals, confer with them, coach them through their goals, and be role models for their students by displaying their own goals.
