This is Chinatown GIrl, this book is a fictional book based around real events that occurred in World War 2, Auckland, New Zealand in 1942, it is based around this young girl named Silvey, this book explains her family, friends school and her daily life challenges during the war. She has a bit of a love story and meets some cool people along the way. But she does hear some unfortunate stories about her elders past, about the racial concept of Asians not being able to come to New Zealand and so on. Silvey is a smart and intelligent girl she picks up he surroundings very fast and she is a brave young girl living her extraordinary story

- This is Silvey Chan, she is a 12 year old girl, she lives in New Zeland Auckland, 45 Greys Avenue. Her and her family own a little shop and they live just above the store. Silvey has to live through this crazy matter of bomb shells everyday ! This all takes place in World War 2 1942, January 1st
- It's been so quite around
- Sometimes Silvey comes in at the store and wroks for a bit, this one morning a tall young man about 15 years old who goes by the name Sunny, he walked in the store looking around and came straight to Silvey. He places a piece of gum and hands her the money. Silvey looks at him but puts it through anyway. He comes by everyday since then to check up on Silvey, he siblings realise this and start teasing Sunny, until one day...
- Hi Silvey, my dad hasn't been too well and schools about to start up again.. my dad thought it was best too move. I'll try to visit but for now.. good bye Silvey xx-Sunny
- Silvey and Sunny were all alone, chatting amongst themselves. Until Sunny reaches into his pocket, slowly crouches on one knee and a shimmer catches her eye. Sunny pulls a ring out of his pocket Sunny Chan do you want to run away with me and be my wife? Silvey thinks shes way to young and she'll never imagine her with a random 15 year old!
- Many days go by and Sunny dosen't visit very often.. he hangs a lot with Dai Gor but he does ask me to come along but I haven't interacted with them in a very long time. I wonder what's going on with him
- Today a got a very random note from Sunny after not hearing from him after I denied him. It looks like he's moving away...
- Chrsitmas came by really fast.. I still miss Wayne, Harry and Tom, Hoping I can see them again :)But .. I got a packet of gum, two bars of chocolate and a bottle of Coca-Cola. That would conclue the end of my year
