The Treaty lasted 30 years which was also known as the 30 years of peace. Conflict between the British and the Cherokee hadn't occured during those 30 years. The Cherokee and the British lived peacefully together for 30 years.

The French and their NA's attacked the British. The British won and the French and their NA's lost with many losses. The British hadn't had a lot of losses.
Cherokee Loss of land
The British failed to protect the Cherokee from the French and Indians. The Cherokee warriors feeling cheated started taking possession of the settlers horses. The Cherokee's actions lead to the Cherokee War.
The Cherokee War started after the Cherokee retaliated when the settlers attacked them. The royal govenor of South Carolina attempted to control the Cherokee by taking several representitives hostage.
The Cherokee War lasted 2 years and the French had won the War. The Cherokee had to give up some of their land to the French after the War had ended. The Cherokee felt cheated by the British.
