- Ofelia and her mom were on their way to their new home with Ofelia's step father. But they had stopped because her mom was pregnant and felt sick.
- Ofelia then finds a insect that turns into a fairy. The fairy makes Ofelia follow it and it ends up leading Ofelia into a underground place, where she then meets a creature names Faun.
- The faun told her she can have her own kingdom if she completed 3 tasks for him. The first task was to Get a key from the inside of a toad. Which she completed.
- Ofelia was opening the book to find her second task but when she opened the book it filled up with blood. Then she quickly closed the book and found her mom covered in blood. Shortly after her baby brother was born but her mom didn't make it.
- For the last scene Ofelia was on her last task which was to go to a ruin on the full moon and put blood in there which was going to be her baby brothers blood but there was an unexpected turn and her stepdad shot her and she died and he ended up dying shortly after that.
