Janie is very unhappy with Logan farm she dislikes him more when she gets to know him. Logan wants a wife that can help him more outside with he farm but Janie isn't one of those women. Janie is a spoiled girl that likes to stay clean.

This is an example of man vs man conflict because the conflict between two characters#160;She finds teacake pistol loaded with three bullets instead of unloading it she sets it so that it will run through the three empty chambers before getting to a bullet When teacake returns he becomes crazier accusing Janie of treating him wrongly. Janie sees that he is holding the pistol. He pulls the trigger once and it clicks on the empty chamber. Janie grabs the rifle and hopes to scare him off.But he pulls the trigger twice more and he is about to fire again. Janie has no choice but to shoot him.
This quote is written in third person by the narrator Janie begins to allow herself to trust teacake.It shortly after teacake return home after winning back Janie money from the dice game. Teacake had to fight a man to take home fair winnings and he proved his promise to support Janie financially.
