- Then they reached the tallest western hemlock in Quinault, Washington on the Olympic Peninsula. From there they went to Kalaloch, Washington to see the largest red cedar tree.

- From Kalaloch they went to Mt. Rainier to see the largest volcano in Washington and Emmons Glacier, the glacier with the largest area in the connected United States (Not including Hawaii or Alaska).
