- To get your L now that you're 16, you’ll need to get 40/50 questions right on a multiple-choice knowledge test
- You can prepare by reading the Learn to Drive smart resource, doing practice tests.
- I just got my L! My next step is to get my N. 
- Of course! You can take your N test after you've had your L license for a minimum of 12 months (prohibition free). 
- That means no tickets or violations of any sorts.
- And of course review the PDFs provided and do the quizzes. I can also take a driver training course!
- Before your test, make sure you get lots of driving practice with a supervisor. Practice at different times of day in different weather and new neighborhoods 
- Make sure you can display driving skills in a safe, smooth, controlled manner.
- Yeah! I just got my N. Lastly, how do I get my full driver's license?
- You can take the Class 5 road test after 24 months as a novice driver (without prohibition). You could even take it after 18 months if you took an ICBC-approved driver training course and met all other criteria.
