- Brabantio didn't actually believe that Desdemona actually loved Othello and wanted to marry him. The duke of Venice sent Othello to Cyprus to defend it from the turks. While Iago was alone he was making his evil plan
- Cassio provoked a scandal in Cyprus while he was drunk. Because of the accident Othello didn't want Cassio to be his officer again. Othello command Iago to go and take care of the town
- Emilia gave Desdemona's handkerchief that Othello gave her to Iago. Iago planned on giving it to Cassio to make Othello believe that Desdemona gave the handkerchief to Cassio. To make Othello believe that Desdemona is cheating on him.
- Sooner or later Othello saw the handkerchief in Cassio's hand giving it to Bianca. Iago convinces Othello that Desdemona and Cassio should die. By all the convincing Othello made the decision that he needs/should kill Desdemona. While Iago said that he will take care of Cassio's death.
- Othello was on his way to kill Desdemona giving her no choice. Desdemona was doing all she could to tell the truth but Othello wouldn't believe her. Othello ended up killing her.
- Emilia noticed that Desdemona was killed. When it came to Montano, Iago, Lodovico, Emilia started to tell the truth about Desdemona and the handkerchief. Iago stabbed Emilia for it and ran away, Montano followed him later and later Montano came back with Iago captured. Lodovico declared that Cassio will be the ruler of Cyprus in addition that Othello and Iago will be prisoners. WHen Othello noticed that Desdemona was right and that Iago provoked the death of his wife, he stabbed himself ending the play with a tragedy.
