- Protests uprise all across the country in response to the video Darnella Frazier. This sparked the Black Lives Matter and Say Their Names movements. People wanted to see a change in the system; police brutality needed to be done once and for all. People wanted to see Derek Chauvin and other three officers on site of the scene to be held accountable for their unjustifiable, inhumane actions.

- Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, J. Alexander Kueng, and Tou Thao were prosecuted for violating the Constitution and lost their jobs. Derek Chauvin is currently serving a 22-year sentence. Although some may feel this was unjust, they were happy to see them held accountable for once. It was a step in the right direction; other cases of police brutality were uncovered and now it was time to focus on getting them the justice that they also deserved.
