I am Malala, a sixteen year old girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban. When the Taliban shot me I was scared, but this did not stop me from wanting everyone to have a fair education, boy or girl. in this photo i was recovered and going to teach at a school in Kenya . The children you see here do not have a fair education and want to learn more. I spent the day at this school and they said it was amazing and they hope to one day too, get a good education. Because as i said ,"one child, one teacher, and one pen, can change the world."

Malala in the hospital
Malala faced many challenges in the book but overcame all of them. She showed amazing perseverance and never cried . Malala never gave up despite the Taliban shooting her, and two of her other classmates. Malala was genuinely terrified, I mean think about it, she was only 16. Malala's school meant everything to her, Her family was even more important. Malala's first question when she regained consciousness was where is my father.

This is my new room in Birmingham, i like it here. The original reason i moved to Birmingham was the health care in Pakistan was not adequate and I would have died there. Until things with the Taliban calmed down, I would not return. I do not like it for one very important reason. That reason is it makes me feel special and better than other girls my age. But the truth is, I am Malala, an ordinary sixteen year old girl from Pakistan who wants what every girl wants, an education.
