Odins eye

Odin started his journey and had to climb many snowy mountains. He wanted true wisdom by drinking from the Well of Wisdom. Unfortunately, the Well was guarded by Mimir, the wisest man in Midgard. Odin knew that Mimir would not at all be hospitable. He knew there would be a price to pay.
Mimir will want your right eye, only then he will give you a drink from the Well of Wisdom.
First, he met a giant riding a reindeer. Before the giant could help Odin, he demanded that Odin answer three questions. Fortunately, Odin knew the answers and in reply to Odin's question, the giant answered .
Odin finally found his way, and saw the huge ash tree towering above. Its deep roots drew wisdom from the four corners of the earth...And near the tree, Mimir stood by his Well of Wisdom.
Upon meeting Mimir, Odin explained that he would be willing to exchange his right eye for a drink from the Well of Wisdom. Mimir simply laughed in his face and abruptly stopped as Odin bravely gorged out his own eye and handed it over to Mimir!
Odin was in excruciating pain and wished that he could see everything that was going on. Mimir was so impressed at Odin's courageousness and presented Odin a glowing horn, filled with water from the Well of Wisdom.
Odin was overjoyed because he had finally succeeded in drinking from the Well of Wisdom. This gave Odin omnipotent vision, as he was able to see everything in all worlds now!
