- Poseidon was a very violent and moody god. Poseidon was called Earthshaker. When he struck the sea he made waves as tall mountains. But when he was in a calm mood he could still the sea and raise new lands out of the ocean.
- With my powers I will make a new land. Here we go! Boom, new land created. I am so powerful, hahahaha.
- One of the islands Poseidon rose out of the ocean was called Delos. It had a single palm tree. Delos was so new it was still floating on the water.
- In the time of Cronus, Nereus ruled the sea. He had 50 sea nymphs he was the father of. Nereus, instead of legs had a fishtail. Nereus was the son of Mother Earth and Pontus. Poseidon was not there yet so he was not yet the god of the sea. He was soon to become god of the sea.
- I am the most powerful titan. I have all the puny gods as servants.
- You may take my daughter from me, to marry her.
- I don ´ t want to leave you, but I want to be with him more. Have a nice life.

- When Poseidon came to take over as ruler of the sea, Nereus offered one of his daughters up for marriage. Poseidon agreed to marry Nereus´ daughter.
- Poseidon got married and ruled the sea with Amphitrite. Amphitrite lived around her 49 other sisters. She had one son and zero daughters. Her son was named Triton. Triton had a fishtail instead of legs, like his grandfather Nerues.
- Poseidon was rarely at home. He was a restless god. He loved to go out into the sea and travel. It was said he had created a horse in the shape of the breaking waves.
