- VISITING THE TOMB
- How did the tomb open?
- TWO ANGELS APPEARED
- Don't be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus. He has risen!
- He is not here. See the place where thy laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter.
- JESUS IS MISSING
- They had taken the Lord out of the tomb!
- We do not know where they have put him!
- Mary Magdalene, Mother Mary and other women went to the tomb with the spices they had prepared. When they arrived, they find the tomb has been opened.
- SIMON AND THE OTHER APOSTLE
- Indeed, Jesus is not here!
- Suddenly, two angels in dazzling white clothes were there. The women bowed in shock. But, the angels shared them the good news.
- MARY MAGDALENE MEETS JESUS
- Don't hold on to me, because I have not yet returned to my Father. But go to my disciples and tell them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'.
- Trembling in fear, the women ran back to tell Simon Peter and the other disciple what they had seen.
- TELLING THE DISCIPLES
- I have seen the Lord!
- Peter and one other disciple went to check the tomb to see for themselves. They looked in and saw the linen cloths that Jesus' body had been wrapped in but nothing else. They went home, confused.
- When peter and the apostle went home, Mary stayed in the tomb crying. Suddenly, a man ask her why she is crying. Mary thought he must be the gardener, without looking. Then she recognized him and exclaimed, "Master!"
- Mary Magdalene followed Jesus' orders to tell his disciples about what happened and Jesus' message for them.
