Once upon a time there were 3 very close friends, a deer, a wood pecker and a tortoise. They were always together.
One day a hunter set a trap in the woods, close to where the deer, woodpecker, and tortoise hung out.
The deer leaves its friends to drink water, gets caught in the trap and cries out for help. The wood pecker and tortoise hear the cries and then rush to the rescue.
The tortoise went to get help from a mouse who lives in a nearby hole.
The deers friends hears its cries and thought of a plan.
The hunter comes out of his tent to retrieve the deer
As the tortoise and mouse work on cutting the trap open, the woodpecker pecks at the hunters head.
They finally cut open the trap and the deer was freed
The woodpecker hurt's the hunter and forces him back inside
The moral of this story is it's good to travel in groups of friends or family and not alone. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
