- The little prince and Antoine spend the whole story in the African desert. When the little prince tells the stories he is in small worlds.
- At some moments the story is in a real world. And at other times the story is in a fantasy world.
- When Antoine was a child, he would show his family a drawing of an elephant surrounded by a snake and ask them what they saw and they would always answer a hat.
- Antoine (a pilot) broke down and could not continue. He stayed in one of the deserts of Africa. During those days he was in the desert, a very strange child called the little prince appeared to him.
