- When Whitney asks if the animals feel emotions when they are hunted, Rainsford replied that that's preposterous. Then, when Rainsford went out to smoke, he falls off of the yacht and landed in the water. Then Rainsford had swam to shore on Ship Trap Island.
- The Leap of Faith.
- Rainsford met two Cossacks, Ivan and General Zaroff, and Rainsford learns that Zaroff hunts humans for sport after getting bored of hunting other animals. He had invited Rainsford to help hunt, but Rainsford had declined. Zaroff is dissapointed because now he has to hunt the hunter he looked up to because Rainsford had delcined to help.
- The Confrontation.
- HOW IN GOD"S NAME DID YOU GET IN HERE?!?!
- After hunting Rainsford for a while and finding him, but deciding not to kill him, Zaroff had stepped in Rainsford's Malay Man-catcher Trap. This injures Zaroff's shoulder, but it doesn't do much else except impress Zaroff.
- Fluffed up Pillow.
- After Rainsford had killed Ivan, he was getting chased by Zaroff's hounds. Rainsford had known that if he jumped, the hounds would kill him. So, Rainsford jumps off of the cliff into the ocean.
- AAAAAAGGGGH
- Turns out, Rainsford had survived the fall and swam back to where Zaroff was. Zaroff was shocked but challenged Rainsford to a duel where the winner would sleep in the bed and the loser would be fed to the dogs. Rainsford had agreed.
- Rainsford had never slept in a better bed in his life.
