Lennie accidentally kills his little pup and is very sad because he believes George won't let him tend the rabbits. He then puts the dog into they hay in attempt to hide it.
Why do you got to get killed? You ain't so little as mice.
This is Lennie
Curley's wife wanted to show Lennie how soft her hair was and lets Lennie touch it. Lennie starts to stroke her hair roughly and Curley's wife starts telling him to stop because she didn't wanted her hair to be messed up.
Oh! That's nice, oh that nice.
This is Curley's wife
You stop it now, you'll mess it all up.
Look out, now, you'll muss it.
Let go. You let go!!!
When Curley's wife starts to yell at Lennie he started to panic and he instead of letting go, held on even tighter on her hair, covered her mouth so she can stop screaming and shook her violently. In the end, Lennie ends up breaking her neck and leaving her lifeless on the floor.
Now don't, I don't want you to yell. You gonna get me in trouble jus' like George says you will. Now don't do that.
