- The woman takes the cabbage from her basket and drop it into the pot. Then she sits with the travellers and they talk while they wait for the soup to cook.
- After a while a man comes to the square
- we're making stone soup
- What are you doing?
- It's very tasty, but we really need some meat to pot in it.
- I've got some meat!
- The man puts some meat into the pot, then he sits with the travellers and the woman......
- Can you give it to us? then we will share our soup with you.
- ....and they all talk while they wait for the soup to cook.
- More villagers come to the square. They all add food to the pot. Soon,they are good friends. The pot is full of meat, potatoes and vegetables, and it smells wonderful. The travellers and the villagers share the soup and they all enjoy a wonderful meat.
