On September 5th, at 12:22 am, Mateo receives a call from Death-Cast to inform him of his untimely death in the next twenty-four hours. Instead of bunkering in his room, one of the last things he wants to do is check-up on his father in the hospital.
At 1:05 am, Rufus receives his call from Death-Cast. Unlike Mateo, he argued with the Decker, but ultimately loss the argument as he realized his situation wasn't as dire as others. He decides to meet up with his Ex, Aimee, to inform her of the horrible news and to talk about her current boyfriend.
