- Kim is an ordinary girl who works as a fashion designer for Vogue.
- Kim's boyfriend Peter is kidnapped by fairies because the Queen of Fairyland, Kendall, is in love with him.
- At first, Kim is scared to go save Peter because she feared she was no match for fairies. However, a helpful fairy named Mariposa encourages her to go and shows her a wardrobe that will transport her into Fairyland and make her become a fairy.
- Once in Fairyland Kim has to learn how to fly and she has to figure out the secret location of Kendall's palace. Luckily, Mariposa is there to help!
- After Kim finds the secret palace and gets past all the guards she confronts Kendall and asks her to let Peter go back home. Kendall refuses but luckily Kim finds an anti-love potion in her pocket and throws it at Kendall. This breaks Kendall's love for Peter and she allows both Peter and Kim to go back home.
- Peter and Kim return back home through the magic wardrobe portal. From this adventure, Kim became much braver and she now has the confidence to fulfill her dream of starting her own clothing line, Wings!
