in the story this is a important part in the story after they get permission by the king the set off to go and kill the dragon but first they had to go on the adventure!

In the story Thorin says if we kill the dragon we can spilt the money but the other guy says that we shouldn't do it because that dragon will kill us all but it was to late the king said ok give them the boat and weapons.
