Della and Jim are a young struggling couple.
Della is in her apartment sad about how she cant find Jim a present for Christmas. She was trying to look for the money.
Della cuts off all her hair for money. Now she can buy Jim his present.
Della and Jim suprise eachother with gifts. Jim gets her a set of combs and Della gets him a watch holder.
Jim decides its a good idea to put the gifts away and to save them for later.
They both relize that they don't need the gifts. The only thing they need is eachother.
