When people started dying due to an unknown disease, the Church began to panic and attempt to find remedies to save their people

The church wanted people to pray and organised marches to hopefully save themselves. They thought God was punishing them

The Church started to blame the Jewish community for what the Black Death had caused!
The Catholic Church believed that Jews poisoned wells to start the Black Plague
In response to this, the Catholic Church murdered hundreds of Jews, and even burned some alive!
Maybe now God will save us?
