Storyboard That's Picture Encyclopedia is full of interesting biographies and facts about topics from inventions to astronomy to ancient gods and goddesses! This activity invites students to create their own Picture Encyclopedia Biography entries about the students in their class.
Using the Biography section as a guide, students will create a storyboard that illustrates a classmate and provides important details about them. Teachers may wish for students to create their own entry or create an entry for their classmate. This is an excellent "get to know you" activity for the beginning of the year to build classroom community. Students can interview each other and take notes before creating their storyboard.
These storyboards can be downloaded as a high resolution image (png) and can be printed out, laminated, and hung up as a colorful decoration that showcases all of the students in the class!
