Overzicht van Activiteiten
Een van de centrale elementen van Le Petit Prince is de rijke thematische wijsheid. Studenten kunnen veel van deze thema's gemakkelijk identificeren, deels omdat verschillende ervan expliciet worden vermeld door de prins, de vos en de verteller. In deze activiteit zullen studenten thema's in het verhaal verkennen en een storyboard maken om elk verhaal te illustreren. Studenten moeten worden aangemoedigd om hun begrip met de klas te delen.
Varieer met deze activiteit door te eisen dat studenten thema's vinden die expliciet in tekstcitaten worden vermeld of door hen elk thema te laten uiten dat ze interpreteren. Om studenten de mogelijkheid te bieden voor meer persoonlijke expressie, vraag je studenten om een cel toe te voegen met de manier waarop elk thema op hun eigen leven van toepassing is.

Même si les roses paraissent toutes semblables aux yeux, le petit prince sait que sa rose est différente des autres puisque c'est elle qu'il a arrosée, mise sous globe, et écoutée se plaindre et se vanter.
On ne connaît que les choses que l'on apprivoise.
Il faut l'intérêt, le temps, et le dévouement pour vraiment connaître quelqu'un. "Apprivoiser", c'est un mot qui veut dire "devenir ami" dans ce livre.
