Tegevuste Ülevaade
Sõltuvusest aru saamine võib olla keeruline mõiste. Enamik inimesi näeb narkootikumide tarvitamise negatiivset käitumist ja märgistab seda inimest halvaks või nõrgaks. Paljud uimastitarbijad ei suuda stressiga korralikult toime tulla ja mõnede uimastitarvitajate algpõhjus võib olla stressi põhjustajate kohene leevendamine. Sõltuvustsüklit võib olla raske murda.
Selle tegevuse käigus loovad õpilased süžeeskeemi, mis illustreerib sõltuvustsüklit . Nad peaksid kindlasti lisama iga sammu kirjelduse ja määrama, millal on parim aeg tsükli katkestamiseks. Ülaltoodud süžeeskeemi näites on parim aeg näidatud etapiks "kasutamise alustamiseks", kuid see ei ole alati inimeste puhul.
