Toiminnan Yleiskatsaus
Kun kyse on suurista elämäpäätöksistä, löydät vastauksen yleensä tarkastelemalla kunkin vaihtoehdon lyhyen ja pitkän aikavälin tuloksia. Loppujen lopuksi opiskelijat joutuvat vaikeaan päätökseen siitä, mitä tehdä lukion jälkeen. Heidän vanhempansa, koulu, yhteiskunta ja itse painostavat valitsemaan viisaasti. Todellisuudessa heillä on paljon aikaa todella selvittää, mitä he haluavat tehdä, ja he voivat muuttaa mieltään milloin tahansa. Heidän vastauksensa saattavat olla paljon selkeämpiä, jos tarkastellaan lyhyen ja pitkän aikavälin tuloksia.
Tässä toiminnassa opiskelijat näkevät lyhyen ja pitkän aikavälin tulokset tärkeästä, yleensä stressaavasta päätöksestä . Päätöksen luominen kuvakäsikirjoituksella voi auttaa visualisoimaan tulevaisuuden näyttää. Tulosten punnitsemisen jälkeen päätöksen pitäisi olla helpompi tehdä. Opiskelijoita tulisi rohkaista harkitsemaan tulevaa päätöstä, kuten uran valitsemista, jotta heidät voidaan edelleen kytkeä toimintaan.
