Infographics are a great way to convey important information in a clear and visual manner. In this activity, students will create a geographic infographic about the country they are studying! They should include facts like population, GDP, major religions, language, and flag, as well as physical locations, geographical features, and resources. While they research, students can keep track of facts using a spider map graphic organizer These infographic posters can be printed out, laminated and hung around the classroom creating a beautiful gallery of interesting places around the world! The posters can also be projected onto the board and students can present their facts about their location to the class.

Objective: Create a geographic infographic about your assigned location.

Student Instructions:

  1. Click "Start Assignment".
  2. Research the location you have been assigned using a graphic organizer to write important information.
  3. Using the template create a geographic infographic inputting the important facts. You may customize the fonts, colors, symbols and designs.
  4. Enhance your design with appropriate symbols, characters, items, and scenes that represent your location.
