Aktivitātes Pārskats
Lai liktu studentiem, domājot par lēmumu, vispirms domāt par sekām, viņiem būs jāapmāca lēmumu pieņemšanas process. Viņu smadzenēs ir izstrādāta atalgojuma sistēma, bet pusaudžu vidū tas nav saistīts ar sekām. Tūlītēja apmierināšana nosaka viņu perspektīvu. Šī lēmumu pieņemšanas shēma viņiem palīdzēs aplūkot situāciju.
Aiciniet studentus prātot par dažiem saviem lēmumiem, ko viņi pieņēmuši nesen, vai lēmumiem, ar kuriem drīzumā nāksies saskarties. Šajā nodarbībā studenti aizpildīs veidni un sadalīs savus lēmumus un to, kā viņi izdarījuši izvēli .

Pēc tam sekojoša aktivitāte var būt vingrinājums “domājiet par pāris”. Ļaujot studentiem pārdomāt vienaudžu lēmumu pieņemšanu, tas palīdzēs radīt domāšanas vidi “vispirms sekas”, un viņi, iespējams, varēs arī gūt iedvesmu viens no otra.
