Een nieuw programma leren kan moeilijk zijn, maar deze "Alles over mij"-activiteit zal zeker studenten van alle leeftijden enthousiast maken. Studenten kunnen bladeren of zoeken naar verschillende kunstwerken en leren hoe ze afbeeldingen kunnen manipuleren terwijl ze anderen over zichzelf leren.
De leerlingen maken een "All About Me"-spinnenkaart . Ze kunnen hun naam, favoriete vak op school, favoriete hobby, favoriete dier en andere favoriete dingen opnemen! De meegeleverde sjabloon bevat 5 cellen, maar docenten kunnen cellen toevoegen of weghalen om aan de capaciteiten van hun leerlingen te voldoen. De kopteksten zijn al ingevuld, maar docenten kunnen andere kopteksten kiezen of deze leeg laten zodat leerlingen ze kunnen invullen als ze daartoe in staat zijn. De sjabloon is volledig aanpasbaar om aan alle behoeften te voldoen!

Het gegeven voorbeeld bevat geen tekst, maar docenten willen misschien dat studenten de vele verschillende tekstballonnen en leuke tekstvakken in de Storyboard Creator verkennen. Studenten kunnen ook beschrijvingsvakken toevoegen met behulp van de functie Celindeling.

Demonstrate how to find and use the audio recording feature in the Storyboard Creator. Walk through the steps for recording, previewing, and attaching audio clips to specific cells so students feel comfortable with the technology.
Have students record a short explanation for each part of their spider map. Encourage them to share why they chose each image, color, or symbol, helping classmates learn more about them.
Organize a gallery walk where students listen to each other’s audio explanations. This builds classroom community, celebrates diversity, and encourages active listening among peers.
An 'All About Me' spider map is a creative activity where students use a visual organizer to share information about themselves, such as their name, favorite subject, hobbies, and more, often using images and text. It's a fun way for students to express their identity and learn new digital skills.
Teachers can add or remove cells, change or leave blank headers, and adjust the template layout to match their students’ abilities. This flexibility ensures all students can participate at their comfort level.
Creative prompts include: finding characters that resemble themselves or family, symbols for favorite subjects, items representing hobbies, favorite animals, backgrounds in their favorite colors, and objects for their favorite season or book.
The 'All About Me' activity helps students get to know each other, builds classroom community, and encourages self-expression, making it an ideal back-to-school project.
Students click 'Start Assignment', write 'All About Me' in the center, add topics to each cell, use scenes, items, and characters to illustrate their answers, and submit by clicking 'Save & Exit'.
