Toiminnan Yleiskatsaus
Suurin osa lääkkeistä kuuluu yhteen tai useampaan näistä huumekategorioista: piristeet, masennukset ja hallusinogeenit. Marihuana on lääke, joka voidaan luokitella sekä masentavaksi että hallusinogeeniseksi.
Pyydä oppilaita luomaan visuaali stimuloivasta, masentavasta ja hallusinogeenisestä vaikutuksesta ja kuvaile, mitä lääke tekee keholle . Pyydä oppilaita luomaan erityisiä huumeesimerkkejä ja vaatimalla heitä luettelemaan jatkuvan käytön pitkäaikaiset vaikutukset voivat olla hyvä tapa vahvistaa huumeiden käytön kielteisiä vaikutuksia. Opiskelijoiden tuottaman työn seuranta on avainasemassa pitämällä sisältökoulu asianmukaisena.
Stimulanttiluokkaan kuuluvat lääkkeet nopeuttavat keskushermostoa, kun niitä tuodaan kehoon. Vaikutuksia ovat kohonnut syke, lisääntynyt valppaus tai energia, alentunut ruokahalu ja mahdollinen unettomuus.
Esimerkkejä piristeistä ovat:
- Tupakka (nikotiini)
- Kofeiini
- kokaiini
- amfetamiinit
- metamfetamiini
- Adderall / Ritalin
Masennuslääkkeiden tiedetään hidastavan keskushermostoa. Joitakin vaikutuksia kehossa ovat alentunut syke, tunnottomuus, alentunut reaktioaika ja heikentynyt koordinaatio.
Esimerkkejä masennuksista ovat:
- alkoholi
- Marihuana
- heroiini
- Nukkuva lääkitys
- Reseptilääkeopioidit / huumausaineet
- Kodeiini
- Xanax
- fentanyyli
- metadoni
Hallusinogeeniset aineet muuttavat jonkun näkökulmaa valoon, makuun, kuuloon ja näkemiseen, aiheuttaen samalla mahdollisesti hallusinaatioita. Nämä vaikutukset kehoon tekevät hallusinogeeneistä suositun musiikkitapahtumissa.
Esimerkkejä hallusinogeeneistä ovat:
- LSD
- PCP
- Ekstaasi / Molly
- Psilocybin (sienet)

Opiskelijoiden ohjeet
Luo kuvakäsikirjoitus, joka näyttää huumeiden vaikutukset kehossa.
- Napsauta "Aloita tehtävä".
- Luetteloi kolme tärkeintä huumekategoriaa otsikkokenttiin.
- Luettele solun alla olevassa kuvausruudussa kolme lyhytaikaista vaikutusta ja yksi pitkäaikainen vaikutus jokaisella lääkkeellä vartaloon.
- Kuvaa lääkkeen vaikutusta solun vartaloon käyttämällä sopivien kohtausten, hahmojen ja esineiden yhdistelmää. Älä kuvaa huumeen todellista käyttöä.
- Tallenna ja lähetä tehtävä.
