Izkļūt no neveselīgām attiecībām ir grūti un potenciāli bīstami. Tas var būt labākais, bet grūtākais lēmums, kāds ikvienam jāpieņem. Ar upuri var manipulēt līdz tādai sajūtai, ka nav problēmas vai tā ir viņu pašu vaina. Liekas, ka kāds no malas meklē cietušā izkļūšanu no ārpuses, bet upuris, iespējams, joprojām tur sajūtas no medusmēneša skatuves.
Kad viņi nolemj pārtraukt attiecības, ir svarīgi, lai būtu izstrādāts drošības plāns. Dažas veicamās darbības ir šādas: nedariet to vienatnē, apgādājiet mobilo tālruni, ne vairāk dusmojieties uz agresoru, nekā nepieciešams, lai izbeigtu attiecības, pastāstiet par to uzticamam pieaugušajam un iestatiet sarunu termiņu, lai ierobežotu iespējamās manipulācijas no agresors.
Šajā nodarbībā studenti izveidos scenāriju, kurā identificēti trīs droši un nedroši sadalīšanas paņēmieni.
