Name a scientist and give his contribution/s.
André-Marie Ampèrewas a French physicist, natural philosopher, and mathematician who is best known for his important contributions to the study of electrodynamics and was the first to demonstrate that a magnetic field is generated when two parallel wires are charged with electricity.Among other things, Ampere was the first to discover that magnetism could be produced without magnets; wrote the foundational test of electromagnetism; and formulated the Ampere’s force law. He also played a key role in the development of the galvanometer; and invented and coined a term forsolenoid. Apart from his work in physics, Ampere also recognized the existence of the element fluorine and made an attempt to organize the elements into a periodic table.
