What did I learn?

- Hi, my name is Aniah and I am going to talk about what I enjoyed most about this class!
- This was my first time taking an anthropology class! I originally took it as something to fill out an elective spot and my roommate had suggested the course.
- My favorite module was about Magic and Religion. I consider myself a spiritual person and not a religious person and it's now easier now to explain the difference between that and being religious to other people.
- What I took away from this class however was the ability to understand other cultures from a more unbiased standpoint and hopefully understand their ways of thinking about certain things. I've always considered myself a more understanding person due to having a multicultural background but there is always room to grow and I will remember that.
- Out of all the classes I have taken so far at Valencia, this one was definitely my favorite and I always looked forward to reading the textbook to learn something new.
- Although I took this class as a filler originally, I am glad that I did because I got to do something I enjoyed towards the end of my associates and even call my own major into question since I enjoyed the topics so much!
