  • I can't believe there are 5.759 million.
  • Arithmetic Density
  • And the arithmetic density is approximately 52 people per square mile
  • Wow that's amazing!
  • There are already 25 people right here!
  • Agricultural Density
  • mhm, yep.
  • Yes sir.
  • It's just me an' my wife here
  • And both of you are farmers?
  • They aren't even considering all the work I do here
  • And only you two work on this enormous piece of land
  • Physiological Density
  • Well, only 1,930 acres are actually farm land.
  • This is about a 2,100 acre plot of land.
  • Woah, that's a lot!
  • And all of it's farm land?!
  • extends for miles
  • Arithmetic density means the amount of people per the amounts of space. The geographers need to know this so they will know what resources they may be lacking and most of all so they know the comparison of population and size in different countries/regions.
  • agricultural density is the ratio of the number of farmers to the amount of arable land. So geographers know how technologically developed the countries are.
  • Physiological density is number of people supported by a unit area of arable land. Geographers need to know this so they will know which countries are more technologically advanced.
