  • THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE BECAUSE WE HAVE THE MOHENJO-DARO RIVER NEAR US SO YOU CAN HAVE GOOD WATER AND WATER TO BATHE.
  • WELCOME TO INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION. IT IS MODERN DAY PAKISTAN. INDUS VALLEY LASTED FOR 200 YEARS !!
  • our roofs are flat so you and your family can have a cool place to sleep on when its hot and just to hang out with friends! our houses are also two stories high. our houses are strong and sturdy because they are made of mud bricks. and depending how much room or kids you have or need we have one to a dozen rooms in one house !
  • mohenjodaros complex system of drains, pipes, wells, and bathrooms set the city apart from the other settlements. when you showered all the dirty water flowed out of your house and emptied into the sewers. rich and poor people all had baths.
  • the great bath is a great place to bathe. sometimes it is also used for rituals! 
  • welcome to the great bath, it is 39 feet long and 8 feet deep. if your wondering about the dirty water it drains on the side. 
  • most of the seals have a small loop in the back so people think they wore them as a charm to keep away evil. some seals a pressed into wax to make a tag.
  • a seal is a small stone that is carved with pictographs that stands for objects, sounds, or ideas. most seals have buffalo, bulls, tigers, elephants, rhinos, fish and crocodile.

  • trading was very important in indus valley. people brought different things to the city to trade, for example farmers brought food and city workers brought pots, beads, cotten.
  • Some traders carried goods on their backs or drove wooden carts pulled by oxen. Others loaded their goods on ships and sailed to trade with other lands.
