He started to look for his father as he dreamed about his father being killed by the Igorots. He armed himself and began the journey. Later he found the Igorots celebrating a fortunate head-hunting expedition, anger took over him and killed the band.
Lam-ang begins another quest when he saw a lovely lass named Ines Kannoyan, daughter of the richest man in town. They both fell in love and decided to get married. Their parents supported their decision and agreed.
Lam-and returns home for the preparation of his wedding and the presents. They began their journey with his townpeople and his wife to kalunutian and again board their ship to butane for another celebration.
It was their tradition to make the groom swim in the river for the hunting of rarang fish. Sadly a fish called Barkakan launches and swallowed him alive. A diver named Marcos retrieves his bones as his rooster hoot and his dog bark, his bones started to move which makes Lam-ang back alive.
